Today I went to Northampton, I had an interview at the university for shoes and accessories design, exciting!! On the way back though I was told to go and visit the northampton museum of footwear. It was amazing! I saw shoes from all different eras, even loads of the shoes celebrities like the spice girls wore. My favourite part was an exhibition dedicated to Jeffrey West shoes, and wow did they not disappoint! Perfect for fashionable young men with a tweak of gothic trend in there, it was a sort of homage to the fashion and music era of that decade, it was pure rock and roll!
I was so impressed with Jeremy West's shoes, even their back story was adorable. Two boys who had known each other since they were 13, started customising reject shoes off of the northampton markets, and from there made their own company! I love their tag line, Stewed Shoed and Tattooed!
